John is very much in love with North Dorset and although he has travelled to many countries, either for work or leisure, he still believes this beautiful part of the country has so much to offer. John established his studio many moons ago in the small, rural town of Stalbridge. Most of the local population are unaware that John or 'Close Up Studio' exists, due to his focus on commercial photography throughout the last 10 to 15 years. However, John has still maintained a very loyal and customer centred service to his local and faithful clients over the years. Stunning makeovers, family, kids, babies and pet portraits, glamorous model shoots and location photography are just a few examples of a diverse range of requests from customers of all ages and backgrounds.

Now 'the times they are a changing' and John feels the need to focus more of his creative energy on the local community and provide a wider range of photographic experiences, second to none!
