John Morley
I had a makeover experience recently at John Morley's Close Up Studio, I was quite nervous to be honest, because I am not one to do my hair or even wear makeup bar a bit of mascara! So I felt like I might be made up to look very unlike myself and see a stranger in the mirror, I couldn't be more wrong! Gail, the makeup artist and stylist was lovely and asked me what I wanted the whole way through, ensuring I had all the opportunities to choose the way I had my hair and the clothing that I wore. The makeup didn't "change" me, but made me feel and look wonderful (if I do say so myself!!!)
Quite soon I enjoyed the camera clicking away at me and the kind instructions and suggestions from John to make me feel comfortable and relaxed, so I wasn't grinning insanely and falsely, but smiling sweetly and looking all soft and lovely!! And judging by the impressed look on my friends and families faces when I showed them my photos, the shoot was a resounding success!
So from plain Jane to supermodel stunner, the whole day was a
relaxing treat - the champagne, the chocolates, the good tunes
playing, having a laugh and being made to feel so welcome by john
and ... I would recommend a makeover like a shot! You won't be
disappointed!

John's probably one of the nicest photographers a model can work with and has one of the best equipped studios I have seen. Some of my fav photos I have in my portfolio have been taken by him. He is caring, patient and takes absolutely excellent shots that any model would be proud to have in their portfolio. I would recommend him to new models wanting a portfolio, you won't go wrong with this photographer.
